About This Site

Welcome to my blog and website. So glad you found me!

Parenting is one heck of a journey. It is a LONG-TERM, ONGOING PROCESS that rarely lacks for challenges.

On the upside: rewards can abound too.

This site is about sharing with you my own experiences as a parent. I will be tempering that with my background in occupational therapy, to help you find hope and help on this roller coaster ride our kids take us as they move toward adulthood.

I look forward to discussing issues relative to parenting. I also plan to touch on occupational therapy-related subjects within the school setting. Eventually, I hope to introduce the topics of handwriting and other means of written communication.

As time goes on and the site develops, I hope to create a ‘something for everyone’ type of atmosphere. I want folks to feel at home here. Questions are always welcome, and I will be very happy to explore a subject to the best of my knowledge whenever I can (assuming I feel I can do it justice). Suggestions for topics are welcome too. Please don’t hesitate to leave a comment and/or reach out via my CONTACT ME page! (And please be assured, I NEVER share your information with anyone.)

Want to insure you’ll never miss a post? Click the follow button at the top of the page. Every post will be automatically delivered to your inbox as soon as it goes live.

Thank you for your time and hope to see you back soon!

  1. You have a nice upcoming blog,
Am a parent of a 21 year old, and a baby-land or a retired land that this blogosphere predominantly is (though I enjoy reading both), it is occasional to find blogs talking about issues related to working parents of our middle-age group.
    Keep up the good work!
